Longmeadow Police: Contractor arrested for stealing $21,000 in jewelry


The contractor was working at a home on Wenonah Road in Longmeadow

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Longmeadow Police arrested a contractor on Wednesday for allegedly stealing jewelry totaling $21,000 from a home they were working at.

Longmeadow Police Department posted to their Facebook page that Kalum Disley, 40 of Indian Orchard, was working as a contractor on Wenonah Road the previous week. The resident discovered later that evening her jewelry was missing.

After further investigation from the Longmeadow Police, Disley was arrested and charged with larceny from building, receiving stolen property over $250 and larceny under $250 by false pretense, according to the Longmeadow Police Facebook page.
